Davis Unified Ignition manufactures the only one-piece ignition system for AMCs. Installation is simple; just drop in the unit and run one 12-volt wire to the distributor. All the messy wiring found on stock AMC electronic ignition systems is eliminated. There is also an optional tach hook-up included. The AMC DUI is available in either the Street/Strip version (up to7000 rpms) or the Racing version (up to 9000 rpms). Both units will allow you to run a .055" spark plug gap, providing a more powerful explosion of the fuel mixture.
