Switch Knob

KE-1 Elite Aluminum Knob
Replace your stock knobs with our beautiful and functional KE-1 knobs for your Street Rod or Custom Cars Dash. Our KE-1 can replace virtually any knob, such as the headlamp or wiper knob you have now. Beautify your stock or modified dash board when you rebuild and rewire your vehicle.

Each 3/4" x 1" diameter knob has a .187 (3/16") or .203" opening and uses a 6-32 set screw to hold the knob fast to the shaft. Most switch shafts are a standard 3/16". If your switch shaft differs in size, simply drill the knob to a larger diameter to fit your shaft and lock with supplied set screw. The set screw makes for easy removal if necessary. The .203" opening is used with our GM headlamp switch shaft only. The headlight switch kit assembly HLS-1E includes the switch, knob, shaft and special dash installation nut.

Allen Wrench Not Included

The GM headlamp switch has a female thread which the installation nut screws into. To mount the switch, simply drill a 7/16" hole through the dash and fasten the switch to the dash with the installation nut using the allen wrench and tighten, That's it. This item is NOT for the Jeep headlamp switch which uses an original chrome retaining nut.
